The story behind QUQON

Back in Austria, an intensive development phase began. Initial prototypes were built, materials were tested, and ideas were either discarded or improved.

During this time, we also found our ideal production site – right in the heart of Upper Austria. Here, the concept of "Quality from Austria" was born – and lives on in every QUQON product to this day.

In February 2017 it was official: The QUQON brand was founded.

The name – inspired by the French concept of cocooning – stands for security, well-being and restful sleep.

Just a few months later, in August, we started selling our first products: the QUQON Individual mattress , the QUQON pillow and the Tencel kapok blanket .

A dream became reality.

Because good sleep is more than just the right mattress, we have expanded our product range to include new favorite products:

the neck pillow , the Swiss pine blanket and the Swiss pine cushion .

Thus, QUQON increasingly became a complete brand for individual, natural sleeping comfort.

A year we will never forget!

Our appearance on "2 Minutes 2 Million" made QUQON known throughout Austria.

Hundreds of thousands saw our idea on television – and many became enthusiastic customers.

The huge positive response not only increased our sales, but also the confidence in our vision: to rethink sleep.

With the QUQON Nature line, we are setting another standard for sustainable sleeping comfort.
The natural mattress combines four different sleeping sensations in one mattress – simply by turning it over.
In addition, there was the natural cushion, the natural latex pillow, the mattress protector and the natural blanket.
This resulted in a completely natural sleep system – regional, sustainable and individual.

In order to continue growing, we went in search of an investor who shares our vision.
At the end of 2021, we found an ideal partner in Sanders & Kauffmann from Bramsche – a traditional company with decades of experience in the premium bedding sector.
Together we embarked on a new chapter in the QUQON story.

With renewed energy and a wealth of experience behind us, we developed new products in 2022 – for the first time also in the area of ​​down.
Since then, QUQON down duvets and down pillows have stood for luxurious sleeping comfort, manufactured in a traditional German company.
Naturally, in proven QUQON quality.

We wanted to make it possible for even more people to enter the world of QUQON – and that's how the QUQON Smart Mattress came about.
A model for those who appreciate Austrian quality but have a smaller budget.
Because good sleep should not be a luxury, but accessible to everyone.

2024 was all about further development and design.

Our website, branding and online shop have been modernized to make the QUQON world even more tangible.

New visuals, innovative configurators and a clear, emotional brand message made QUQON synonymous with individual sleeping comfort.

And the best part: Our community continued to grow – thousands of satisfied sleepers trust QUQON.

Another major milestone: In September 2025, we moved into our new office in Krems an der Donau.
There we also opened our first QUQON showroom – a place where you can experience all our products live and try them out.
A space for inspiration, advice, and truly restful sleep.
QUQON has arrived – and is ready for the next chapters.
